[Boatanchors] Shelby/Dallas hamfest report

Shelby is one of the largest and oldest fests, drawing people primarily
from VA, NC, SC, GA, TN but often further afield.
But I thought the turnout of vintage gear was really very good this year.
I've probably seen 3 Invaders over the last 10 years and this year there
were 6 or 7!

"Several" meant I know I saw more than one, but it might have only been two!
Maybe some year I should take a little audio recorder around to mutter into.

But you never know - sometimes a treasure will show up at even the smallest
fest - I fondly remember the day I went to a small fest and besides my table
the only other boatanchor was a lonely S-40B. I was feeling pretty
discouraged until a guy came up and said "I see you like old gear - I've got
some stuff in a warehouse you might be interested in".....So I took home a
Pacemaker, Ranger, Valiant, 75A-4, 75A-3 and had to come back with a truck
to get the Desk KW and pair of R-390's.
73 & Keep 'em glowing,
