Please join us on Saturday August 30th for the HHI -
Halligan's Hallicrafters International, 40 meter Net. Hey! It
is Labor Day weekend. This means NO laborious duties, such as
weed whacking with a sharp blade that can easily remove your
leg from the knee down or a two cycle bluish cloud spitting
high rpm motor that mulches weeds and small trees with a whip
that would make a Caribbean Pirate proud! This is a Labor
Free weekend, so grab a cold beverage, park your Rumpus
Buttacus Maximus in a comfy Ham Shack chair and enjoy those
wonders that still go glow in the dark!

The Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC). The
HHI Net proper starts at 1:00 PM EST/EDT, (1700 UTC). The
frequency is 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter
and slightly corroded TR relay chatter. So break out a pre-
metal in the paper Lincoln bill and polish up those contacts
so that glow no longer has a slight stutter!

If the fickle Zone Of Deaf happens to be taking a snooze, I
might even hear adjacent states! If not, one of those will
likely hear you. We will be there, so drift on by and join
