Eric - you should be able to get $90 - $140.00 if its in good condtion, and
another $20.00 or so if it has a clock (minor cabinet scratches and some
front panel wear). If excellent or near new looking - maybe $200.00 (should
have a nice shiny chassis with no corrosion spotting or little dark specks
on the chassis etc.). No extra holes or mods - drops the value (even adding
a coax fitting lowers the value some). Having the original manual helps. If
you have a speaker, add another $25 - $75.00 depending on condition. The
HQ100 was the lowest priced radio that Hammarlund sold in the 100 - 180
series of communication radios that were produced in the 50s/60s, and are
the most common. They are a little drifty, and the Q multiplier/bfo is a bit
tricky to get used to - but a fun radio to use, and lots of folks got into
ham radio with them. Good luck on finding a new home for it.
