Join us on Sunday August 3rd for the HHI 20 meter Net. Life is too short to
work all the time, take time to play!
Pre-Net: 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC)
HHI Net: 1:15 PM EST/EDT, (1715 UTC)
Frequency: 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and a cursed
Tweetie Bird I have my mil surplus RADAR scanning for! If it finds it, there
will be feathers flying!
Listen for us from 14.292 MHZ through 14.293 MHZ. Just start at 14.292 and
let the vintage rig drift until you hear us! Depending on which way the
mikes are splattering, determines which way we wave adios!
I have some local QRM, AKA Tweetie Bird, that is giving me a S9 noise level.
It seems to be cyclic, not line noise, not coming from my QTH. It is about
+/-3 wide and sounds like a tornado. No, not a Hallicrafters "Storm Series"
joke!
So if I do not hear you, hopefully one of the designated relay stations
will. Or for that matter, any station on frequency can handle a relay. Hope
to hear many of you tomorrow.
