[Boatanchors] Galaxy FFR-230/6 Receiver

Hello-
    Does anyone have any technical data they could share for the following 
receiver:
            Galaxy model FFR-230/6  (R-1735/URR is the single freq mil 
version)
    This is a solid state, 1970's era, 6 channel, xtal controlled SSB/CW 
receiver, used by US Gov't (Coast guard, border patrol).
    I bought a couple of them and would like to place them on Ham bands as 
monitors in my workshop. Thanks, Byron, WA5THJ.
