I believe the 239-A is a variant of the common type 39.  The TV-7 will 
test those.  It's a remote-cutoff pentode.........6.3v. filaments.

Can anyone tell me where to get these 239A's  tested? My Heath tester 
won't and
my friends TV7 won't.
Does anyone know of a cross nr for this tube? These look unused.
