WØQFC raised some interesting questions about restoring panels for his
DX-35 and DX-40 projects.

As most of us know, silk-screening can be very
expensive...........especially in one-off situations. So we usually
end up with a restored, working rig........albeit not as pretty as we
like.

I recently came across two products that might be of interest. I have
no stake in either and have not plunked down the money for one just
yet. But it's possible an inexpensive solution to re-labeling a panel
might be at hand.

Try this location: www.pulsarprofx.com/index.html Click on the
DECAL PRO FX box and follow the tour. At one point you will see a
toggle for CUSTOMER PHOTOS. Scan through this and find the Johnson
Viking II that was restored using their product.

I was impressed.

Secondly, I've read up on a silk-screen process offered by an outfit
called EZ Screen. Go to www.ezscreenprint.com for their
information.

Again, I've not used them. But may try one (probably Decalpro FX) in
the future.

Hope this might be of interest to all. And, if anyone has had
experience with them they might let us know.

Keep the BA's alive.
