The Handbook plan seemed clear and simple,
An easy bulls eye on a pimple!
With anchor set and wire coiled,
This Ham free park would soon be spoiled!

Into the air I launched my arrow,
And downwards fell an impaled Sparrow!
The tree I missed with dipole wire,
But made a street light glow with fire!

A picnic table spread with food,
Those eating doubtless thought it rude,
My wire fell upon their grill,
And blew their buns up yonder hill!

My ground was bad and sparks sure flew,
And then the parks big propane tank blew!
Some campers learned that day to fly,
And rode their tents like Broncos on high!

The outhouse seats sailed through the air,
With stunned campers their butts still bare!
Then down it came, it rained real lunch,
Burgers, hot dogs, salads and punch!

I tried to flee before the hunt,
To find the nut who staged this stunt!
My truck was here, over there, and there,
Then A Badminton birdie grazed my hair!

My bones will mend, the cuts will heal,
But state run parks, for me, no deal!
So Yogi Bear and BooBoo too,
I've got your backs, Labor Day through!
