[Boatanchors] IARU Band Plan

The only junk mailings I am getting are the email and snail-mail from
Newington soliciting donations. As an active AM and CW operator I am
very happy to see anyone willing to take on a haughty organization who
has nothing but disdain for any member who does not wish to follow the
party line. When my current membership expires it will be the last
time. A BIG thank you to Ron.

And no, I do not share the future vision of amateur radio operators
being a bunch of police wanna-bes looking for an emergency so they can
utilize their assortment of goofy looking hand-helds strapped around
their oversized waist and this appears to be a major target market of
the current officers in charge. As for their current slogan, "when all
else fails..." has Walter Mitty stepped out of the book and into the
league with delusions of grandeur???
