A Red core signifies a powdered iron # 2 mix, you possibly bought that to
wind a balun for an antenna tuner. I wouldnt advise using ferrite at much
over 25-50W as they saturate easy and can cause all sorts of non linear
radiation.
You can get all the formulas and winding info from the Amidon web site.
