[Boatanchors] Antenna Question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has built the antenna from the November 1995 
edition of QST, written by Floyd Koontz, WA2WVL? Can't find his E-Mail 
address.

It requires winding a 50 to 450 ohm transformer using an FT-240-61 core. I 
have a couple of cores the same size, but do not know if they are the same 
type. Does anyone know the color of the FT-240-61 or how I could identify 
the core? The cores I have I bought years ago for some other antenna project 
and do not rember the type. They are red on the inside, outside and top with 
the bottom a dark grey.
