For Sale - $600.00US plus packing and shipping.  Nice clean R-390A in good working order. This one is by Motorola (as per the labels on various parts of the set). All 4 mechanical filters work, and the dial accuracy is good. WWV appears right where it should. It comes with good  top and bottom covers, and meters. Clean inside and out. No modifications that I can find or know of. Front panel is 9/10. There is no visible manufacturer label on the PTO, so Im guessing it is Motorola. The seal on the PTO is unbroken. It runs well, but is sold as is. 2 negatives, both fixable - the bfo is "noisy" and settles down once the knob is moved back and forth - so could use some contact cleaner - but one has to remove the module to get at it. The first band (lower half of  the broadcast band) does not engage and will require an adjustment of the cam for that band ( there is only one cam involved for that particular band). Ive owned the radio for several years. Old age is setting in and heavy radios are not as easy to handle as they once were for me. Located in Southern Ontario.
