[Boatanchors] Looking for info on VECO Varistors

I found about 20 small envelopes in the stuff that came from my father's 
workshop.  They were labeled VECO  VX102-1 and VX103-1 Varistors made by 
Victory Engineering Corp. of Springfield, NJ.  Google searches results were 
about VECO being aquired by YIS followed by a sale of YIS to Measurements 
something.

Does anyone have any catalogs or data sheets on these varistors.  I would 
appreciate any information and/or application data that any one could 
furnish.
