Jeremy,

I found two references to "Little Giant" in the 1920's - maybe earlier than your set, though.

"Little Giant" was used as a trade name by Metro Electric Co., Newark NJ, in 1924, according to the McGraw-Hill trade directory published that year.

There was a 1925 model, a three dial battery set, called the "Little Giant" made / sold by the Q. T. Radio Products Company, East 140 Park Avenue, Orange NJ. Q. T. appears in trade directories for 1924 and 1925, and in Radio Retailing's listing of Receiving Sets for 1926-1927. The 1925 set was picked up by Ralph Langley (later McMahon) in the "Radio Collector's Guide...".

Hope this info is at least a start for you,

Greg
