Look very carefully on the chassis. There should be a
model number that can give a "hint" as to the
manufacturer. Then it should be in one of the Riders
manuals or at least listed in Langley's book.

During the second half of the 1920s and all during the
1930s several manufacturers "private labeled" all
sorts of radios for even small department stores.
Also, during the 1920s and well into the 1930s many
radios were sold less cabinets and there were quite a
number of "third party" manufacturers who made
cabinets of all sorts of styles. Even Atwater-Kent
radios were sold thusly (especially the Model 55). Go

for an example of a third party cabinet on a Howard
unit from 1931 that is part of my radio collection.
There is a Graybar 550 on the same page that is an
example of radios manufacutured for "private label"
distribution. The "guts" were made by Radiola (RCA)
and the cabinet by someone else.

It is a spindly leg console radio, looks to be early
30's. Other than "Little Giant" on the front there is
no other ID.

I cant find any info on line or in a few books I have.

Any help to ID the maker is appreciated.
