The T-1035A is not military surplus. They were
basically a modification of the Measurements Model 180
signal generator that were painted gray and had the
Motorola logo on them. They were sold by Motorola
Communications & Electronics (the old two-way radio
"arm" of Motorola) for use at their authorized service
stations. General Electric had a similar model that
was painted black and the panel was turned 90 degrees.
I gave one away a couple of years ago that was left
over from when I owned the Motorola reconditioned
equipment center for the south-central United States
(1970 until Motorola went out of that "end" of the
business in 1979). Also had one my senior year in
college (1966-1967) when I established the first
company owned portable and pager repair facility
outside of the Chicago area plant. This was in the
Atlanta, Georgia, area.
The T-1035A generates CW and has FM modulation.
Frankly, they are a pretty good signal generator for
their "day" (1960s through the 1970s). However, they
are not continuous coverage but were designed
primarily for the commercial two-way FM bands. But,
they do cover enough to be useful for some amateur
radio use.

Have a Motorola T-1035-A for sale. From what I can
find online, they say it is a military surplus FM
signal generator.
