[Boatanchors] Solid State Relay Question

Hi Greg,

I replaced the plate relay in my Johnson Desk KW with a pair of solid
state relays and I also use solid state relays to control the primary
power in my homebrew triple 4CX800 amplifier. They work well in both
applications but you should put RF chokes and bypass caps on the control
line near the relay to keep RF off of that line. RF on the control line
causes some very strange effects! Most of the solid state relays have
built in MOV protection also.
