[Boatanchors] Capacitor question

Somewhere, maybe on this list, someone put out a list of capacitor types, 
their good and poor points, etc.
Does anyone remember that link?

Would a silver mica be a good replacement for the old ceramic, radial lead
"dog none" caps like used in old boatanchors?
These are used in RF circuits.
