If you have an SB 303/401 combination with the crystal pack in the 401, and you have them connected together for transceive operation, can you switch between transceive and stand alone operation just by changing the locked/unlocked switch position on the 401?   Or do you have to choose beforehand whether you will operate transceive or stand alone and the cable appropriately and either put in or leave out the crystal pack?
