For all of our disagreements with occasional actions by
the ARRL and FCC we know them well and have access to
influence them. moveon.org is vastly less trustworthy
and completely unaccountable.
DO NOT sign anything they propose for any reason -- if
there is a petition or proposal to defend spectrum then
let it come from an organization we have some reason to
trust.
moveon.org is a radical leftist collection of unaccountable
Hollywood and foreign interests with a pattern of anti-
American, anti-freedom, anti-technology, and anti-free
speech (political correctness on steroids) special interest
lobbying.
No one has documented an active docket before the FCC nor
a specific pending piece of legislation with any probability
of passage that threatens the "Chicken Little" scenario
moveon.org is using to try and stampede lemmings to their
cause du jour (manipulation via fear and hate are their
modus operandi).
The "monster" of big business trying to take over the world
is an old fraud first used by Karl Marx and now moveon.org
As the Bible says "There is nothing new under the sun."
Let us together study the *facts* and then choose our course
of action calmly and patiently and wisely.
