You know what guys!! I think that ya all are making a mountain out of a
little mole hill.. You are taking one guys word for this Peter Dahl deal
when I bet ya that there is nothing to it...If they did not want the
Amateur Business why would they still be advertising in QST and CQ???
Lets put 1 and 1 together and assume that they are downright busy as
most of the manufacturing facilities are now.. Heck STEP IR has a 13
week wait on antennas and the backlog is growing wider...Look at lots of
the companies They are all back logged. I work for an off shore company
that manufactures Speakers and audio amps...Guess what we are back
logged as well. The world economy is great right now and we should thank
the good lord that it is...

This thread has gone on to long lets switch to something else...

Subject: [Boatanchors] Re Peter Dahl Complaints

Why not cut and paste this list of complaints about the product, or
seeming
lack thereof, and send it by regular mail to the upper management of the

Peter Dahl Company? All of the issues raised here should get their
attention. If not, then perhaps they simply do not want, or need, the
business of Ham Radio operators.

I suspect that if Hams stopped buying products using transformers by
Peter
Dahl, and buying replacement transformers for ones that failed in
equipment
they currently own, that the bean counters at the Peter Dahl bean stalk
plant might have a vision of some guy named Jack climbing down their ego

tower and chopping their profits off at the stalk like bean stalk leaves

with brown fungal financial blight. Sometimes the best stimulus for
financial growth is a swift kick in the decimal point placement!
