Eugene, that is up to your personal preference. In my
Novice days I put the frequency of the crystal I was using,
never mind the other person may be transmitting 10 KC away.
I really believe the listing of the exact frequency came
about more when the digital displays arrived. Truthfully
the band, mode and strength of the signal is what is
important, plus the date of course.
