They sound like perfectly good fuses.

Google Buss or Bussman Fuses for the specs on the three letter types and
Littlefuse for the 3xx types. Places like Mouser and DigiKey may also
help you find the specs. Some of the types may be rare and useful to
some people.

They are NOT junk. If you decide to toss them, I'll pay postage to me.

  Some time back I inhereted a big bunch of fuses, some in the old metal

  tins, many loose. Googling did not come up with a great deal of help
  in classifying them. Does anyone have a reference that would help?

  Here are some of the types:
  AGX;  AGC1,2,5,1A;  MDX; MTH; MDL35,1/2,1 1/2; MDA;  GGC; 1AG; 3AG;
  BUSS C3/4,C7; FUSETRON N2,N4,C7;
  These are all glass, some obviously slow blow due to all the extra
  parts inside but others may be slow blow as well. How can you tell?

  All of the ones in the tins have a number after the 3-letter prefix
  but I know that in many cases it is not the amp rating.

  There are also bunch of loose ceramic so no way to tell if they are
  slow blow or not. Many of the glass are not the common 1-1/4 inch
  length, probably at least 5 different lengths. Some of the glass ones
  have more metal on one end than the other. Some I will never know what

  ampere they are because no marking was found.

  Am I wasting my time with most of these and would be better off just
  tossing them?
