My guess is a hydralic pressure regulator of some sort for control surface
actuators (boost or autopilot actuators?)
Maybe a damper control unit to adjust time lag of hydralic pressure to the
actuators to keep the system from oscillating?
My 2 cents worth.
Type of aircraft? Search me. Nothing I've come into contact with, but then
I wasn't a flight control system or airframe tech. Just a dumb pilot. Like
"Oddball" in Kelly's Heroes said: "Man like I just drive 'em....I don't know
what makes them go!"
