Hi Rock:
The 3340 is the identity number for a specific model Gonset product.

There are at least two versions of the GSB 201 style amp. The original
version is 4x 811A's and will have "GSB 201" just below the meter on the
right hand side.
The other amp is the same package but runs 572B's I think and is rated
higher in power output. Cabinet and FP is a bit more modern looking.
All my manuals are packed for my house move at the end of the month so I
can't help anymore than this.
My GSB 201 runs 811A's and works well with Chinese tubes in it. Excited with
an Eldico SSB 100F transmitter it is a reliable amplifier here. Not only is
the amp deceptively heavy it also runs hot but will make a really nice light
show as the 811A's glow thru the small holes in the cabinet. If you want to
get a positive ID you will have to get the part number off the power
transformer and compare it with the manual (BAMA)
The most significant modification for the GSB 201 is removal of the external
blocking bias. This is an improvement of the circuit and there is no
downside to the mod.
The amp is well worth the effort.
Have fun, you got a keeper!
