I agree with Rodger 100% and am happy to hear it wasn't any worse,
Gary. I used to tempt fate the same way, but finally learned it's just
not worth the risk.
Rodger's comments about woodworking safety brought circular saw
accidents to mind. Here's a very common home power tool that -
according to stats from a trade association - causes 60,000 injuries -
and 3,000 amputations - every year in the US alone! I mention this as
an example of how technology has been applied, not just to make saws
safer, but to actually make it impossible to injure yourself on one!
I don't own one (or stock in the company) but I think they've got a

Like we were reminded in the old QSTs "Switch to Safety". And that
applies to power tools as well as high voltage.
