Eugene,
I bought one recently from MCM that is really solid. Reminds you of
the old bakelite fuse holders. It has two holes for mounting but I
used SHOE GOO to attach it firmly to the chassis of an antique Philco
AA5 radio.
The part number is 28-0175 and is just $1.39. It is rated at 10A.
Good luck and 73, Dick KF4NS

Ok, here's a really silly question. My fuse holder on my 51J4 broke
after a little trip. Can someone recommend a good quality fuse holder
(new or used)? I know this sounds silly, but the last one I bought
from
radio shack literally came apart in my hand as I gently tightened the
cap. I guess I could buy anything from Mouser or equivalent, but I'd
rather not buy a "low quality brand."

It's for a standard fuse that's about 1.25" in length. Diameter of the
hole that the fuse holder passes through the chassis is about 1/2".
Entire body from fuse cap to solder tab is about 2".

Thanks
Eugene
