Yep, some things never change, Robert. You still get what you pay for.
I have a set of taps and dies gotten years ago in an estate purchase,
buried in a cabinet full of radio stuff. They still work as new,
excellent results every time. Same with the few Greenlee punches I
have.

I could get my '73 Series III 88 up to 65 with its Turner-ized mill.
Best thing next to the aluminum body was the ability to field strip
the thing with a handful of simple tools. Military split rims made
changing tires in the field easy too, if not annoying as hell. Hard to
get a true Land Rover in the states these days, beyond older models or
the Range Rover luxury SUV. The 'Discovery' doesn't really count since
it's merely a wanna-be Land Rover, more like a Blazer or Bronco. They
stopped allowing the Defenders in years ago. Used ones cost more than
they did new, even with 100K+ miles!
