For what it's worth, I bought a set of chassis punches from Ocean State
Electronics. Around $50. Made in Japan with the Philmore label on it. I
thought I could throw my Rat tail file away but:
I popped a bunch of holes for tube sockets with them and notice that the
holes got a bit on the ragged side after awhile. Probably means that the
got dull fairly quick. I still use them but have to dress the holes every
time I punch. I only punch aluminum and the thinnest stuff I can get away
with. No thick slab stuff ever. Sure I'd like to have all Greenlee punches
but the Turbo Porsche comes first.
