GM Bob,
AMPHENOL designated them as their SERIES 75 Microphone Connectors.
Standard connector size was 5/8", 27 t.p.i. and a 3/8" mounting hole.
Part number was75-PC1M. Other manufacturers had their own numbers,
etc. but most all were simply called microphone connectors. I don't
know if there is a modern day equivalent.
Hope this helps.
If you need one, I'd be happy to look through my junk box to see if an
extra is floating around.

Subject: [Boatanchors] mic jack for DX-100
Does anyone know the correct name or designation for the original mic
input
on the front of a DX-100? Any sources for the mic (female) end that
screws
onto the end on the transmitter?
thanks,
Bob
