[Boatanchors] ID of "RBM" Component?

Hi All,

In a box of junk I found a small plug-in device with a 5-pin male base 
(UX5? - 807 pinout) marked RBM - Made In USA, with two numbers 55585 and 
A223. The can is 2" high by 1.75" diameter. Could be a coil out of 
something? Has "4" scratched on the base. Any ideas? Can send a photo if 
required.
