Sandy,
You are looking for a program called "qbasic". If you have an old Win 95 or
Win 98 CD, you should be able to find the program there.. Just copy it and
the associated help files to a directory on your computer and click on
qbasic...
Or, do a Google search for "qbasic download". There are several sites where
you can download the software..

Subject: [Boatanchors] "off topic" question...
Anyone have a link where I can obtain a program for Windows 98 or 98SE to
run an old program in "BASIC". Something to make my Windows (*SE machine
mimic it anyway.
Some of the old Windows operating systems had this but I don't know when
they eliminated it. Haven't used "BASIC" in years!
Google hasn't been a help here.

Sandy W5TVW
