Regarding spectrum analysers, R&S sold Polarad models under their (R&S)
brand. In the late 1980's R&S developed the FSA, FSB.. range of
analysers and dropped the Polarad line.

On the other hand, some R&S signal generators (e.g. SMS2, SPN)
were marketed under the Polarad label.

R&S is notorious (like most European manufacturers) for actively
hiding all information of equipment which they regard
as obsolete...
