[Boatanchors] Shure 444 mic conversion

Has anyone done the Heil HC-5 conversion on the Shure 444? The instruction
shows mounting the HC-5 to a "baffle board" with a piece of "foam" followed
by the cover.

Do you remove the original cartridge including the ground plate behind it,
and discard all the cotton material? What do you use for the baffle board
and what kind of foam did you use?

If nobody knows I will just contact Heil. Also, I have the impedence
matching xfmr and will mount that in the base.
