Dick:
The title of this list is Boatanchors and, to me, includes
anything necessary to repair, service or otherwise maintain
the receivers. Or for that matter transmitters, antenna,
tuners, baluns, multicouplers, RF connectors. If it
receives, transmits or monitors a boatanchor, then I want to
read it.
I even know of some solid state stuff that is old and quite
heavy. If it was made before the 1965 - 1970 time frame
then I would call it a boatanchor. However I have an HT 44
and SX 117 which are quite light. They do have tubes in
them, so I wonder? Are they boatanchors?
