Do not overlook the RBM Series.
one of the three, (I've owned a couple), covered 200Kc to 2000Kc
the next one covered 2000Kc to 20000Kc
There is a third, but I do NOT know of its coverage.
Each of them was 'A Unit of Model RBM-4 Radio Equipment.
The 2 to 20 Mc was labeled "TYPE CAY-46077 High Frequency Receiver"
By contractor Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co.
Navy Department - Bureau of Ships, Contract NXss-19329
The components inside were all date stamper August 1943
