You are right Glen my error. I guess I had something else in mind.

Heath did some funny advertising. The DX100 was rated at 100 watts out on
phone and 120 watts out on CW.
The apache was advertised as 150 watts input on phone and 180 watts input on
CW. If they ran at 66% efficiency then both would run at the same power
levels.

By the way I saw an ad for the 6146B on the back of the January 1964 QST. I
don't know if they were delivering yet but they were advertising.
