[Boatanchors] Resistance values of power supply chokes.

Hi Gang,
Does anyone know what the restance is of L21 and L22 power supply chokes of
the
Hammarlund HQ-129-X? The schematic and parts list doesn't give the Henrys
nor
the resistances.
I've had both chokes rewound and one is 15 Henrys and measures 190 ohms on
a
Eico Model 221 VTVM.
The other one is 35 Henrys and measures 1000 ohms.
My Sencore "Z" meters only measures to 10 Henrys so no luck there in
confirming
whether the chokes are still good.
Problem is a loud hum or horn sound and the three 10 Mfd. 450V condensers
all
come thru with flying colors on both the "Z" meter and the N.R.I. R/C
Tester.
My next effort will be to substitute another audio output transformer (for
the
original in the rcvr). I have the one I salvaged from my first 129-X which I
parted
out a couple of years ago.
I am still open to any ideas or suggestions. I am too stubborn to give up!
Take care,
Ken N5CM
