[Boatanchors] You never know what you'll find in a boatanchor

Heathkit issued several mods/errata/bulletins against the DX-100. QST had
about 20 articles on "improving" the DX-100. Electric Radio had 2 or 3.
CQ had about 6 or 7.
Since I'm a "collector of manuals", over the years I've found lots of
strange and unusual "things" stuck between the pages. One strange one was
a check from the US Government to a Private in the Army for 10 cents.
Can't remember if the date on the check was 1949 or 1952 but it was one
of the two. In some Gonset manuals, I found the actual picture proofs
that were used for some magazine advertising or at least that's what was
marked on them. I've found letters/envelopes in some, letter dialogues
between customer and equipment manufacturer, cut out newspaper articles
from the 30's, 40's, 50's, coupons from places that no longer exist, and
tons of scrap paper with notes on them. Still looking for manual that has
the 100 dollar bill stuck in it.
