[Boatanchors] BAMA UPLOADS

Thanks to all who responded to my query about an FTP client. I tried the
FIREFTP because I use Firefox and it was easy to find & install.

Accessing BAMA now looks more like an FTP client on my system. I was able to
login OK and I can see my directories as well as the BAMA tree structure.
Tried to upload my stuff by dragging & dropping and it let me upload the
folder, but gave me "access denied" errors when I tried to upload the folder
contents.

Are these UNIX errors, max'd out # users (altho I'm logged in), or ???

FireFTP works best for me. I don't think you can drag and drop to the
browser.

Trying to upload a manual to BAMA. File size is not real big (300-400K),
tried uploading as folder and/or as JPG file. No joy.

I access the BAMA upload page, drag & drop (or copy/paste) from my PC onto
the BAMA\UPLOAD directory shown on my browser (Firefox).

All that happens is the file (or folder) is opened locally, but nothing
transfers upline to the BAMA site.

Didn't think I need to use an FTP client, but do I?

Tnx/73
