I use my NCX-5 quite often on the air. It always performs very well and I
prefer it over the Drake TR3/TR-4 series of sweep tube transceivers. Even
my NCX-3 gets weekly use on 20 meters. I got rid of all my Drake stuff
but the National stuff are keepers.
