Agree 100%, Carl. Not to mention the off-the-wall knob changes and
such. I've seen gear built and used by the FCC, including the SX-28.
It clearly states that it was built for them, their use, etc. The ebay
unit looks like someone's project they tried to gussy up to look
official or important somehow.

Besides, everyone knows it's not official gov't issue unless is has
that eyeball over the pyramid from the back of the dollar bill
somewhere on it.  (o:
