[Boatanchors] My UPS experience

I am lucky as I am also in a rural area but I have a great UPS driver.
On a couple of occasions he has changed his route slightly to hit my
house late when he expects me to be home to sign for a package. When
items are left outside the door they are moved under the door overhang
and put in plastic bags on rainy days. Last Thursday, just prior to our
current ice attack, he delivered an SX-73 and HT-32B and had his cart
out ready to bring them inside if I wished, I had my own furniture dolly
handy but it was thoughtful. Every year he does get a Christmas bonus
from us and it is well deserved given the great service. I hope that he
doesn't plan on retiring or moving anytime soon!

And Jack at least you have the great AZ weather instead of the 1/2 inch
of ice here with more to come so it isn't all bad! My father-in-law
winters in Green Valley (near Tucson) since he has grown tired of the ND
winters. Good luck with making some sort of arrangements with your UPS
driver.
