If my (mobile days) memory serves me, the M1070 works from both 110v ac and 
12 volts dc. You need to split up the power line into two distinct cables 
serving each of the two units. I had to make my own back then from parts. 
The factory was only 10 miles from my home. Check your bias battery in the 
AF 68 to make sure it's still good. Rick K8PJQ 5-59
