Need help identifying mfgr & model of connectors used on TriEx tower control
box to run to limit switches. Slightly off topic (sorry!) but the tower is
heavy metal and 30+ years old, so it could definitely anchor a boat.
I have called Tash Towers, but they haven't been able to tell me what I
have. Apparently type of connector has changed over the years. The manual I
have does not ID those parts.
I believe these may be Amphenol or maybe Cannon connectors; there's plent
from these mfgrs that look similar to what I have.
The ones I have are suitable for outdoor environment, square plastic base
for female, round flange about 1" diameter, which holds 6 pins arranged in
circle around circumference, with 7th pin in center. The 6 outside pins are
staggered to leave room for an alignment key, and there is both a locking
collar plus threaded base. Pins are all same size, approx 1/8" diameter.
Female socket is maybe 1" tall, the male plug with shroud is maybe 2" long.
Picture is worth 1000 words...I can send a couple small JPEGS if you think
you can ID these. I need minimum of 2, preferably 4, of the male connector
(with new pins) so I can replace cables running to the limit switches.
ID of the plugs would be greatly appreciated. The holy grail would be
finding someone who has some of these for sale! However, once ID'd, I'm
pretty sure Mouser & DigiKey will carry them.
Thanks and 73,
Dan
