Yes those are the original photos, pre-smash from the original auction and
it is a woman who knows absolutely nothing about radios, same seller and her
feedback rating has not changed since then which makes me believe she may
have been suspended for a while although I don't know that. Radio was shoved
into a cheap single ply cardboard box after I had sent her some extra money
for packing (at her request), the packing job was so bad UPS would not
insure her and advised her to pack it better, she ignored them. I know this
because they talked to me, probably so I would go after them and they
remembered it because it was such a bad job and the woman was really pushy
and rude (they put this a little more nicely). The radio was packed with the
speaker and 5 coils on top of the manual which was on top of the receiver.
When it arrived the metal cover was furrowed in the middle, the two ends
were curling upward, the plastic round coil strip holder was broken, the
dial would not turn unless forced then it made loud clunking noises the case
was pushed outward. It was completely ruined, then I had to fight with her
and finally paypal re-embursed me because of al the homework I had done, had
proof it was her crooked negligence that had caused it. I sent it back to
her, which is why she is abail to re-sell it, my only regret is not leaving
negative feedback, I learned a lesson, someone is in for a rude surprise and
a nasty cheap lying person when they try to complain about it.
