   Dem moonbats gonna see the business end of my shotgun! And Al Bore (pun intended) busy chasing unbelievable things (like "global warming) to bother me much. We use to leave the Collins version of the R-390 on 24/7 to receive RTTY MARS messages, and it worked well. The SX-99 does vary a few cycles, I believe due to voltage and frequency changes in the line power supplied by Alabama Power's Thurlow Dam. The drought in the Tallapoosa River basin has a lot to do with that, barely enough water to not cover the rocks and mud downriver of the dam. The State of Georgia could help out on this, but refuses. Water politics, I thought we had left that behind with the "Dark Ages", but I guess not. Thanks for the chuckle, Carl.
