This WHOLE group hasn't enjoyed a thread like this in a long time!

It almost makes a few of us want to start a *NEW* QTH.NET Group:

                                                    Boat Anchor Memories

                                                                  OR

                                                    Old Fondest Memories

And just because I threw Angelo into a message - *ALTHOUGH* I did mess 
up his last name due to old age *and* CRS!

Reading these posts brings back many years, good friends that have gone 
before me and those I haven't spoke to in awhile.

It is/was a pleasure to read all of these.

I'll admit to using Angelo's name as a threat to a youngster whom bought 
my original Novice rig - An SB-102.  A week or two after I sold it to 
him, I get a few comments from one or two others that there was this guy 
that was using callsigns NOT issued yet.  More comments, and my OWN 
discovery, lead me to him.

I paid him a personal visit, as I felt partially responsible - since *I* 
sold him the radio.

He and I had a "little" talk.  I invoked Angelo as a black cloud over 
his head!  I said, "Either you remove the straight key *and* secure it, 
OR I will have a discussion with Angelo about the pirated calls that are 
coming from *THIS* house!

He removed the key, the problem NEVER cropped up again, *AND* he went on 
to get his license!

It is another one of those things that has popped up in my mind since we 
started down Memory Lane!

It is *VERY* nice to do this.  It sure beats the Politics or Flames that 
pop up infrequently.
