Jerry Freeman was one cool dude, but I don't think he held a ham 
ticket.  My favorite Jerry Freeman story involved a fellow at the 
Virginia Beach Hamfest who was selling a CB amplifier.  Jerry walked up 
to him carrying a hammer and told him to either destroy the amp, then 
and there, or be fined $10,000.  After seeing Jerry's badge and 
credentials, the fellow used Jerry's hammer and destroyed the amp.  This 
is hearsay, so if anyone was there and witnessed this event, please 
correct and/or add to the story.
