Bob,

Wow...........you bring up another name from the past.  I kept all of 
my "expired" First Class tickets and they grace the walls here in the 
shack.  I took my First Phone test in Miami in 1963.  It's signed by 
A.C. Gilbert as the issuing officer and has the Ben F. Waple signature 
stamp when he was FCC Secretary.

More good memories, for sure.

 At
that time he was in the Tampa field office.


The gentleman who walked softly and carried a big stick 
was.......Gilbert
from the Miami office.
